Excellent work. After reading this, I also see how important of an exercise it is to write out our investment philosophy. Looking forward to next year's annual letter!

Thank you very much Eric! I think it is very important to force ourselves to write these things, as scary as it is. It should only improve one's process. Hahhahaha will start thinking about the next one!

Muchas gracias por el comentario Rodolfo! En uno o dos meses voy a estar publicando lo que sería la segunda part de este artículo. Trato a estos como mis "shareholder letters". Me alegra que te haya gustado.

Great write! Very insightfull for me to read. You touch a lot of good points to think about during the process of investing. An article to keep on archives for futur reads and to digest everything. Thanks!

Thank you very much for the thoughtful comment Max!! I'm really glad you found the article insightful and/or useful. As you mention, I tried to make a whole summary of the process of investing with my own words. Complicated task, but glad it got somewhere.

What an ambitious post! This is a really useful project, because investing is more about understanding yourself than knowing how to calculate ROIC.

You comment that repetition is everywhere, and ask how to add value. So much of it is just putting existing thoughts into a new context. Even Buffett's wisdom is often just repackaged Ben Graham. No shame in that!

Hahahahah you always get it. The post was indeed very ambitious, couldn't deliver as well as I'd like to, but good experiment.

I completely agree, there is some genius in a re-arrangement of things. I've just been obsessed lately with Thiel's idea of taking things from 0 to 1, but you are right. Thank you for the thoughtful comment Geoff!
