ASML reported results on Wednesday 17th before the market opened. Results have been regarded as sub-optimal by the financial community. In this article, I’ll go over ASML’s financial performance, management’s commentary and outlook, and my take on the quarter.
The company recorded 5.29bn Euros in sales, falling at the midpoint of guidance. Revenue declined 21.5% on a yearly basis, representing the first YoY decrease after two years. It is important to note, if we attain to observe the chart below, the continuous presence of seasonality, mostly notorious on first quarters.
